The building is amazing and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and delightful. the patio is a nice spot to relax and the garden is lovely. - the location is brilliant and marvellous, within easy walking distance to the town center. Ellen House in Matlock is a fantastic place with beautiful rooms and an impressive building. Guests can enjoy the comforts of the cozy rooms and relax in the delightful patio or lovely garden. Its convenient location near the town center makes it a great choice for visitors looking to explore the area easily.

Amazing staff, answered all questions. The setting was quite stunning and pleasant within easy reach of a victorian - era public park. Furthermore, the area was great.

Stayed for 2 nights in this beautifully designed and peaceful place, enjoyed that. Coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, and cereal provided for breakfast was good. The hotel met required needs, I would have stayed for longer.

The room here had its own bathroom and you could easily access the lovely garden that is in a central location.

This place is situated in a charming cul de sac and the room is stylishly decorated with a super comfy bed.

The room was modern with a very comfortable bed and coffee, the staff were very friendly, did everything. The location was extremely quiet, near restaurants, convenient to go everywhere. Further, it was short walk to the train station, town centre and bus stop, the terraced garden and England.

The location here was absolutely stunning! It's conveniently close to restaurants, hiking trails, as well as the train station and town center. I popped over to Rubigo for a few drinks, and it's just a quick hop from here. Definitely worth checking out!

The breakfast here was really good, with delicious homemade jams and marmalade that went perfectly with the toast. 🍓 the location of this place is great, super close to restaurants and pubs, which was awesome.

The room was airy, new-fashioned with coffee, the garden, tea and coffee making facilities, I was pleased. The breakfast had a good choice of options and included cakes, potato, and cereal. Excellent and lovely location next to both the town centre and train station, and great restaurants, restaurants and cafés were minute walk from the hotel.

The rooms here are gorgeous, equipped with everything you need like homemade biscuits, plenty of room to store your stuff, and a super cozy bed. Plus, you won't have to go far to enjoy a beautiful Victorian-era public park nearby. 🌳
